Freckle Designs was founded in 2005 following acclaimed new designer, Leanne Rostron's graduation with an MA in Ceramic Design from Staffordshire University. Leanne immediately began creating her first tableware collections which, when launched, attracted a lot of attention within the industry and media for their cutting-edge style and energy. Freckle's debut collections - Kimono (now in Selfridge's), Wee Woosh (Gift of the Year finalist 2007), Spotz and Skull U Bearz all have completely distinctive looks and characters while still emitting that unique Freckle energy and freshness. Heavily influenced by the urban energy of modern street art, together with contemporary classical beauty, Freckle adds a fresh new dimension to the traditional world of Fine Bone China tableware. Each piece is handmade in Stoke-on-Trent, renowned as the heart of English pottery with a history of craftmanship and family pottery manufacturers. Freckle is committed to preserving this tradition and Leanne remains involved at every stage of the manufacturing process from creating the original designs through to delivery, to ensure the items you receive are of the highest quality.

In addition to a commitment to quality, we at Freckle also have a responsibility to this beautiful planet on which we are all priveliged guests. We use recycled products for our packaging, transportation and administration and are active in encouraging our customers and fellow businesses to do the same.This is an ideal we hold very close to our hearts.
